An evocative Maison de Maitre majestically placed amongst the vineyards of the Cognac region. Previously a working Cognac farm, this rustic house holds many memories of the traditional world of the famous eau de vie. With three foot thick stone walls and exposed beams, the interior has retained much of the original feel.

Spacious and cool with shutters to calm the warming sun of the Charente, the house is an oasis in itself. The courtyard reveals the ancient methods of Cognac distilling and with a table for 10, trampoline and swingset, it provides a fun filled afternoon for the kids without leaving the property.

Set with views over the calming vineyards of Cognac - the house comprises:

First floor: two double bedrooms, a children's room with two double bunks, and family bathroom with shower, large bath and double sinks.

Ground floor: Den with double sofa bed, TV and DVD. Sitting room with exposed brickwork, wood burning stove, TV and DVD. Cloakroom with shower.

Large kitchen with table for 10, washer, dryer, fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave and WIFI.

Linens can be provided upon request.
